An Introduction to Spiritual Self-Care
Spiritual Self-care is perhaps the most esoteric of the four pillars, however, in essence, it is the search for purpose and meaning in life. In order to find your connection to your purpose, a lot of thought and meditation must go into finding your purpose, and by practising some of the following rituals, it can help with what you find most important in life.
- Going on a nature walk: this can provide you with the headspace that you need to think critically, or to slow down your thought process so that you can think clearly about what you want and need in your life.
- Yoga: the slow movements and stretches in Yoga can help to clear the mind and bring focus. Tip: use our core mist range to create an inviting space to help you practise Yoga. Additionally, the Reed Diffusers and Diffuser Oils can also help with to create this space.
- Mindfulness exercises: Alongside our journals, these can help you document your journey, and articulating these thoughts in the written word can help you understand your purpose in life.
This Pillar is quite possibly one of the most highest-order needs that humans require in their lives, and so it is understandable that it may take a long time to get to where you need to go. However, as long as you keep moving and don’t stop, you will arrive at your destination with your purpose firmly in sight.
